- Transfiguration
The art of changing the form and appearance of an object or a person. Taught by Professor McGonagall and once by Dumbledore himself, this is an impressive unisex blend of oud and lavender with patchouli, sandalwood, sensual leather and rich amber.
- Herbology
In this class, students spent time learning about all the different varieties of magical plants. The greenhouses smell of fresh, vibrant lemongrass, coriander and Mediterranean herbs blended with clary sage, lily of the valley and amber.
- Divination
Where students were taught methods of divining the future. A rich and floral tea fragrance with vibrant jasmine and freesia blended with darjeeling tea leaves, sweet apricot and ylang ylang.
- Potions
Potions was a core class at Hogwarts. Following specific recipes, students learnt the correct way to brew potions. This fragrance is an interesting blend of spiced pumpkin with sweet, juicy berries, fruit syrup, cinnamon and clove.
- History of Magic
Use of actual magic in this core class was not necessary. It was taught by a ghost! History of magic smells old and familiar. You get notes of sweet rose and honey flower warmed by tonka and amber, but then notes of wood smoke and oak, leather bound books and patchouli. Curious.
- Charms
Wingardium Leviosa! Unsurprisingly, this class specialised in the teaching of charms. A sensual and soft floral amber with ambrette seed, sandal incense, freesia, powdery musk and white amber.
- Defence Against the Dark Arts
Where students were taught how to defend themselves against all aspects of the dark arts. This is a dark and brooding fragrance with cedarwood, incense and earthy patchouli blended with soft, silky musk, smooth vanilla and a touch of violet.
- Muggle Studies
Part of the non-magical studies curriculum at Hogwarts, this is the study of the daily lives of muggles. Delicious notes of ripe raspberry and sweet strawberry blended with sandal, jasmine and soft musk.
